Wireless Home Automation for X10 ActiveHome Products

AllWireless provides Full X10 Wireless Support (US Patents Pending). A wireless interface to X10's CM11A interface module was designed in Perl and C for POSIX operating systems, and allows any Internet-ready wireless device to submit commands in realtime to the interface module. This permits any home appliance or lighting to be under a wireless user's control at any time. The wireless user can also change housecodes, view the current status of up to 16 appliances, and submit general or specific commands to them, such as dimming. All Wireless' also supports the X10 TH2807 Thermostat setback controller, allowing users to control the environment of their home from their wireless device. In addition to Unix and Linux, AllWireless will also support the Windows operating system and X10 for MS Webserver users.

A WAP and PDA Controlled Coffee Maker (Patent Pending)

A small controller is embedded inside of this common coffee maker and is terminated with a standard CAT-5 socket. The wireless client is written for an HDML or WML compatible device. The wireless user has the option of turning the coffee maker on or off.

A WAP Controlled Vending Machine (US Patent Pending)

A small controller is embedd inside of this 100% clear acrylic vending machine used for demonstration purposes. The controller dispenses a bottle of water or other cylindrical package, and uses feedback to advance and halt the dispensing action. The feedback mechanism also pushes a message back to the wireless user. The wireless client is written for an HDML, WML, or HTML/Clipping compatible device. The wireless user has the option of selecting one item to be dispensed. Features of the service include an account profile for the user which maintains inventory and a fictitious billing statement for the wireless user.
